I’m a wine professional and I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work with some of the best in the wine business in both NJ and NY. Most days of the week, you can find me at 56 Degree Wine in Bernardsville. When I’m not at the shop, I’m either cooking up a storm at home with Chef Maya (my talented daughter who just recently graduated from Johnson and Wales University,) or spending time with my family and friends. Outside of my “day job,” I moderate and facilitate wine tastings and events (these days, many via Zoom,) and help individuals curate wine selections for special events, private collections, and building out their cellars. I was trained as a private chef over 15 years ago and I support local farmers and am always on a search for the freshest and most seasonal ingredients for the food that I cook. I love to explore culinary destinations that take advantage of the land’s bounty. I consider fine food and wine as works of art; masterpieces created by the most talented artists. My husband and 2 daughters are always game to explore a new recipe and sample a wine that pairs perfectly (just a sniff for my highschooler!) and they are the ones that make it possible for me to be so passionate about what I love.
